As Usual...

Our plans changed! Things happened in a whirl wind of events, but I know that every single event that happened was God leading us right to where we are now.  Will got a job in Midvale, and we planned on moving somewhere close-I was leaning towards Draper, and Will was wishing South Jordan! We packed all of our stuff that was originally packed for Texas into another Uhaul (Thanks Ken!!) and headed for the Salt Lake Valley.  I was so sad to leave my Mom & Ken, & Dad & Hallie, & Will's Fam, it was so nice having all the grandparents so close.  But Will & I were ready for the next chapter, whatever it entailed.  We arrived in Logan to stay with some friends while we scoped out the cute house I found in West Jordan & finalized everything on Will's job in Midvale.  We drove down to SLC & I called to schedule an appt. with the property manager of the house I liked, and guess what. They JUST rented it.  Wow. I was devastated.  I thought, its ok, there are a million places down here, I'll go look at some of my other options.  All the while, Will kept getting calls from a guy that Trent knew, and really wanted Will to come work for him instead.  He was very aggressive, and wanted Will bad! So we met up with him, and he was a great guy.  A tad unorganized-but that's why he needed Will so badly! So now we had two job options, which was great-but confused things a little.  We drove to an adorable house up on South Mtn in Draper, and I was in love, it was in the cutest neighborhood, and it was so pretty! We walked IN the house, and yet again, devastation.  Evidentally a family with 5 boys had previously lived there. And it was EVIDENT.  I have never seen a more trashed home, its so sad to me what people can do to such a beautiful home.  We proceeded to view home after home after home......and nothing fit the bill.  I had a pit in my stomach the entire week.  I wanted so bad to give Salt Lake a try, obviously I had to because that's where Will's job offers were.  I thought it would be so fun to live by my friends down there too.  But every night that we would drive back to Logan, I would bawl. And bawl. And...bawl.  It just didn't feel right to me.  I just knew that Logan is where I want my kids to grow up.  Its where I feel at peace. It is just home. And I haven't felt that way about a place since I was little.  So we prayed and prayed about things, and felt that we needed to be here in Logan.  Great. More confusion! Everyone knows that Logan is no place to make money.  Its a college town, and the pay is nil. So we suffered trying to figure how on Earth we were going to pull this off. Here we were, homeless AGAIN, jobs in the air, AGAIN, and not knowing where in the world our little life was headed.  I was literally headed back to the depths of depression again, when I woke up Friday morning with a thought-maybe Will could talk to this guy that wants him to work for him so bad, and see if he could commute a few times a week! I thought there was no chance, no way.  But I kept thinking about it all day, and finally told Will-we just need to talk to him~ So we did.  There is no doubt in my mind that this man was put in our life for a reason.  He was completely willing to work with Will from Logan.  How amazing is that? Logan living, Salt Lake pay.  Wow~ To say I was relieved is the biggest understatement of the century.

Now, to find a home in Logan.  We looked at a few places, and boy did I ever forget the garbage rentals around here. Mostly everything is super old (which I love and hate), but is mostly lived in by college students. Fun life, yucky house. Haha! We looked everywhere. At everything. I thought for sure we were headed back to apartment living.  I had seen this cute house all week on ksl, but thought there is no way we can afford that if Will is going to get a 'Logan' job. But now that he was getting a 'Salt Lake' job, maybe there was a chance! So I called the guy and we drove across town, pulled up to the cutest little blue house (i know right, blue!?) But from the second I walked in the front door I knew it was ours.  I could see my kids playing in the living room while I cooked in that kitchen.  It was honestly the biggest answer to all my prayers.  Will and I haven't had our own home in over 6 months.  I know that is nothing compared to what most people have to go through, but to finally have a place to call ours, was the most amazing blessing.  I could not be more grateful to my Father in Heaven for this sequence of happenings, it was so tough, (I know it may not sound so bad, but living it was intense). Will now works from home, pretty long hours, but it is so nice to have him here.  So, this is our cute new home, and I could not be an ounce happier.

Once Again...

We are relocating! Back to Utah~WAHOO! I really can't believe how torn I am about it though.  Living with Gramma for the summer has been awesome, she is the biggest blessing, and my babies love her so so sooooo much.  Living close to my Dad again has been great, I love hanging out with him and going on random road trips to Vernal.  It has also been good to live close to Will's parents-Ryann and Rome have gotten to know them lots better.  Surprisingly, the summer & fall here have been gorgeous.  Hardly any wind AT ALL.  SHocker.....    But I know once the winter gets here, it will be a COMPLETELY different story, so thats one bullet I am fully enthused to dodge.  Living here has been good for me, I finally got up the nerve to do booths for my Astoria-and they did awesome.  Its hard because crafty stuff is a dime a dozen in Utah, and my stuff is nothing special there. Here-not so many talented stay at home mom's to compete with.  It was a great confidence builder, and I will be traveling back here to do lots of craft fairs.  Alas, it is definitely time to go.  Its amazing how living with people you love more than anything can be the greatest thing, and the worst thing. I am a thorough believer that families need space.  So despite the amazing time we have had, I'm afraid that my dear mother and husband will go WWE on eachother before the year is through.  LOL! So Will got a job in Midvale, and we will be moving to the 801 in........2 weeks!

Really?

Really, Tiarra, really?? Why do you suck so bad at blogging!? I need to keep a diary, but actually finding time to write words down on a piece of paper with a pen is like trying to find my lip gloss in the diaper bag....it ain't gonna happen! Will's Mom has this cute scrapbook of him when he was little, and she wrote down all the funny things he used to say and make her laugh-so until I actually have the time in my life to do a scrapbook, I seriously need to write about all the awesome things my kids do.  So I'm REALLY going to be better at blogging.  Really, Really!! Cause cute moments like this one,

Ryann: (Puts hand Over Mommy's Mouth) DON'T....SING!!!!!

Well...

At Least I have a Blog Right? Ugh.. I am so bad at this! So...I'm going to give you the rundown of the previous 3 months......... Rome was born. Then having two kids was crazy-but I love every minute of it.  Ryann took to being a big sissy like a fish to water! She is so sweet to him, she literally smothers him with love everyday! She is the best sissy ever!

My Best Friend/Sister Jocelyn had her lil baby boy April 14th--Ryder Ray Brummond joined the world weighing in at 7 lbs 13 oz & 20 1/2 in long. He is so precious!!!

Trent & Natalie finally got married on April 21st---YAy!  Their wedding was so much fun, They are the cutest couple.  Natalie's Dress was-to die for! And Trent had a great...bowtie!  :)  It was my first time in the SLC temple, and it is so beautiful-I loved every minute of their sealing! So excited to have such an adorable new Sis! Congrats to them!!!
We blessed Rome on Easter Sunday-it was such a beautiful day, Rome looked soooo cute in his blessing outfit (Side story-I couldn't find a blessing outfit I loved, I looked EVERYWHERE!!! So store after store, website after website, it came down to the night before-running around the mall in SLC trying to find anything!!! So, I Finally found one, and it had huge crosses across the front of it LOL! So i bought it anyways, and decided I would alter it :),  I have to say it turned out pretty good!haha!)  So Will gives the most amazing blessings, I love having such an amazing husband, I'm so blessed to be married to a worthy priesthood holder :).  Will, Britt, Uncle Steve, Matt, & Papa Jim stood in the blessing circle, and it was so special.  Of course we are SUCH idiots and totally spaced taking pictures.... but I did take some cute ones of Ro in his outfit~
So, after the wedding/blessing weekend-life got real crazy.  Will and I decided to move to Dallas TX for summer sales, because working a W-2 job is just insanity to us! So Will gave his notice to work, and we packed up our home & Headed south (Side Note-We Bought a New Car During all this craziness-bigger fam=bigger car! I've wanted a pathfinder FOREVER and my Cute Hubby made my wish come true!)
On our way to Texas, Will and I made one of the most insane decisions of our life, its risky, but we know we are where we need to be.  Our decision will take up a whole post of its own-so more to come later :)   Anywho, we are happy & lovin life-& thats all that really matters to us :) TTFN

Rome William Brummond

Getting ready to go to the hospital!
Waiting for lil Ro.....watching the biggest loser haha!
Chubby Bunny! (After he started breathing of course)

He has arrived!!! Hallelujah! Now that my little man is 7 weeks old, I have a smidgen of time to blog his birth story. He was born at 4:47 pm, weighed a whopping 8 lbs 5 oz, and was 20 inches long.  After arriving at L&D at 7:15 am, they started me on the pitocin.  I was still only dilated to a 3 and the pitocin was moving me along at about 1/4 cm per hour haha! My Doc came in and tried *yes TRIED* to break my water at about 9 am...tried, and failed. OUch. So they kicked up the pitocin and decided to keep waiting.  Well they kept kicking it up and up because I wasn't dilating hardly at all...until I started to feel like I could literally not breathe! So then we had to put the breaks on it...and try breaking my water again.  My doc came back at about 1:30 and was able to break my water, and Wow, I forgot how weird that feels haha!!! Things started to speed up and by 3:45 I was at a 10! Then I had to wait for my Dr to come back...she took forever! I decided this time around I wanted to watch in the mirror, and I'm glad I did cause it was awesome! I thought it would totally freak me out, but it was so cool to see him be born.  After a few pushes my dr started looking worried...he was a little stuck.  He was a big baby, so clearly the birth canal was a tad small for him.  He started to stress...as did I when I watched my dr tugging on his neck to help him come out! She literally pulled him out.  She set him on my stomach and I was so in love.  He was so beautiful.  This time around Will actually got to cut the cord, which was way cool for him :).  He was smiling like a fool the whole time, he was so fun to watch because you could just see how proud he was! After he cut the cord they took him over to the table, and the nurses started getting really quiet and talking on their little walkie talkies and I kinda started to freak out.  They told me he wasn't breathing and thats why he wasn't crying yet.  The nurse had to bag him and breathe for him-it was the scariest thing I've ever experienced.  I just wanted to hear him cry so bad.  My sister Chauntelle was video taping him, and the nurse turned to her and told her she needed her to shut it off....which I'm really glad I didn't hear because I think I would have freaked out even more!!!! I watched the nurse flicking his feet really hard trying to get him to breathe, and he still wouldn't.  She had to give him some shots, and she said "this will get to him cry and breathe"....well it still didn't. So she kept bagging him.  All the while I am craning my neck to try and see what is going on, and they are just telling me, he's ok, he's ok.  And all I can think is, if he's ok he would be crying! After what seemed like an eternity, they got him to breathe on his own and I got to hold him.  They let me feed him and snuggle him for about 45 minutes, and then they took him to the NICU to run some tests and watch his breathing for about 30 minutes while they took me the mother and baby unit.  I was so so worried about him, because after all of this he still had not cried.  He came back from the NICU and they said everything was great...he was jaundiced, but breathing well on his own.  They let me eat, and I have to tell you...I don't think anything has ever tasted better! I had chicken and rosemary potatoes, green beans, and blueberry cheesecake..........I was a happy camper! Maybe because they had starved me for a full 12 hrs...nevertheless...I loved it.  Can I just say how much I love being at the hospital haha! They bring you yummy food, pain killers, take your baby so you can sleep...its so nice! I did not want to leave! I loved watching Will give Rome his first bath, it took me back to when Ry was born...which seems like yesterday.  He is such a good Daddy, and was sooo proud! The whole experience was amazing. The poor little guy didn't have enough lung strength to cry for the first two days...but boy when they brought him back from his circumcision, I think my heart broke in a million pieces to hear him cry.  We got to take him home that same day...which was bittersweet because I didn't want the hospital experience to end, but I was DYING to see my little Ryann.  Because its flu season, they weren't letting anyone under the age of 14 visit the hospital, not even siblings! She couldn't even come up the elevator to look at us through the glass, they told us we could bring her to the gift shop to do a skype call....and I thought to myself...hmmm...my little 18 month old is going to feel real great seeing Mommy on a computer screen holding a new baby-NOT! So the poor girl had to stay at home for 2 days, and then have Mommy reappear with a new baby.  She would not even look at me for the first 5 or 6 hours I was home, and her little brother was not even a blip on her radar. She was not having it.  It broke my heart to have my little best friend upset with me, but by the end of the day she warmed up to me :).  On the other hand, she did not even look at her brother the first two days he was home haha! It took her a bit to warm up, but now she is the BEST big sissy ever! She is so sweet to him, she gives him sooo many kisses everyday, pets his head, rubs her face on his, tries to put his binky in his mouth for him, rocks him in his bouncy chair, and gets mommy every time he cries! She is so good to him! I am so blessed to have such beautiful healthy kids, I love them both more than words can describe.  I can't imagine not having them in my life-being their mother is the most fulfilling and joyful and hard thing I have ever done, and I wouldn't trade it for the world!

Finally!

Well, I am sitting here in Labor and Delivery...yet again.  But today they are inducing me, so I am not leaving babyless this time!!! Wahoo! I am so excited to meet this little boy, man he has made me work for him~2 1/2 months of contractions every five minutes....wow I am ready for him to get here.  He's gonna be the sweetest cutest little thing that hit this planet since Ryann...they will have to share the award for most adorable kids ever.  I love them both so much! Sad I don't get to see Ry for a while....and I hate sitting around waiting, but I can be patient. I think I can I think I can..... :) Wish us luck!!! Next time I post, I am gonna have a cute baby boy :D

Getting there....SLowly but Surely.

Had a Dr appt. yesterday....after 2 months of braxton hicks every 5 minutes, I am finally dilating! Holy cow. Its about time.  I'm at a 2, and 60% effaced.  My Dr says she is going to strip my membranes on Wednesday, and hopefully he will be here by this weekend.  Lets hope, cause she is leaving for a week. A week! Not trying to complain or anything, but she also left for my whole 39th week with Ryann...wth. Ryann was born the *night* before she left.  This week she is leaving Friday afternoon-so lets pray we get lucky. P.S. does anyone want to borrow an 18 month old DIVA for a month???? If so let me know. Anyways, I've been trying to keep myself very busy to take my mind off of this waiting game, and yesterday I finished his car seat canopy! Will says its kinda girly, so I added a little owl to the corner of it, and he still says its pretty girly-but I don't care. It matches my diaper bag, and he's a baby boy-not a man.

As if I needed another cute boutique to fall in love with and get addicted to....I stopped in this "scrapbook" store between Logan and Smithfield called Carolee's Creations. Oh my. MG. Wow they have such cute purses, clothes, jewelry, hair accessories, scrapbook stuff, and my favorite: their new line of fabric! Will is not gonna be happy about this...
