Too Much of Something is a Good Thing!

So...I got extremely bored today, and decided I needed to try something new for astoria, and have been in love with the vintage-lace & satin style headpieces that looked too difficult to attempt, but I figured hey what the heck...why not!?   This is what came of my day, I got started and ended up having way too much fun making stuff!!!

Can I love Anything More...I think not!!!

 

This little thing is the love of my life. My pride and Joy. She is the best thing that could have ever happened to Will and I, and we are so unbelievably blessed that she chose us as her parents. She is the best helper, the best eater, and an amazing sleeper. I couldn't ask for a better baby.  I love her to pieces, and then some....

She is gonna be the best big sister in the whole world!!!

Ahh Christmas Time!

I love Christmas! I love baking and making candies for friends and family! I am going to attempt making sugar cookies today, so wish me luck!!! Ryann love loves the Christmas Tree, well not so much the tree as the candy canes I should say.  She has a real knack for finding them...   Anywho... Lucky me, Astoria is getting busier all the time and I'm having way too much fun making new things all the time! I'm such a lucky girl, getting to stay at home with my beautiful little girl and making crafts all day! I have the best hubby in the world! Will has been working 6 days a week at Sprint, which really sucks because he is on salary so the extra hours don't mean more $$$, just more work for the poor guy :(. No worries though, this time next year he will be doing Xango full time and we won't have to worry about work schedules and not getting any time off for the holidays. He literally gets 1/2 of Christmas Eve off, and Christmas Day, and then has to be back to work.  So needless to say, we won't be going to visit family in Casper, which is kinda a bummer. We are excited to have our own little Christmas in our new house, but it just won't be the same not seeing our parents on Christmas Day for the first time in our lives... :/.  Here's what Ryann has asked Santa pretty please to bring her:

As of Late...

Well, as usual we are keeping pretty busy! Got some of my Christmas shopping done, and it got me really excited to be having a boy! For some reason holding the little outfits makes it more real! We are starting to look at names, and I forgot how hard it is to name a little person! Its a pretty hefty task, and I get so nervous about it haha! I really can't wait to have a little tiny baby around to snuggle with (even though Ry has started snuggling me again because of the cold weather-yay!) Newborns are just so soft and sweet, and asleep! I am just dying to know what he is gonna look like too! Will he be a blondy like his Daddy? Or a little Indian baby like his sister haha? I'm so excited to see, but also trying to spend and soak up as much of my time with Ryann as I can.  I know things will be different once he gets here, so I am loving every minute with her! Speaking of.....Ryann is quite the character. She is learning and picking up on everything everyone around her does! She loves to sing the Itsy Bitsy Spider, and make dog and pig noises! She loves to shake her finger at Mommy and Daddy and say No No! Her signing is getting better, she does More, Please, Eat, All Done, and Thank You (almost!).  I love that I can communicate with her! She loooooooves her soft blanky, and all of her furry stuffed animals, she rubs them on her face and says Sooooft! She also gives the animals kisses! She has a pet fish, which she called shish, but she Loves to watch him swim around! She never gets tired of playing with her Daddy either....he throws her in the air and she does flips and drops backwards, it makes me super nervous, but she can't get enough of it-She is such a thrill seeker! She blows raspberries on Mommy's belly, and gives kisses to her brother (I really wish she could understand that theres a baby in there, but its cute nonetheless!) She blows kisses bye bye, waves and says bye bye perfectly! She is really mastering peek a boo too! The way she says boo is so cute because its just in her little voice, and is a perfectly pronounced boo!
As for Will and I life is going pretty great! We are loving our ward here in Smithfield with all the old people haha! Someday we hope to actually sit in the chapel, but Ry doesn't really cooperate...     Wills job is awesome, I am so proud of him and the things he has accomplished in his store, he really is such a great manager! He is also getting really excited for the snow to come so he can start his snowboarding season....sure wish I could tag along...but I will have to wait til next year! As for me, I stay busy relentlessly trying to keep my house clean and tidy, making bows and flowers for Astoria, and taking and editing pictures for friends.  I feel like the time goes by so stinkin fast when you are a stay at home mom, I don't know why the world thinks its such a cush job. I'm not complaining, but I will say it is definitely a full time job in itself~
Other than all that I am super excited for the holidays and visits with family! Thanksgiving is going to be hard this year controlling myself as I only have a limited amount of space to fill my belly....I guess I'll just have to resort to eating in increments! And yes...I am going to put up my tree this week. Because I can. Ha.

Well, Astoria isn't quite off to the start I had hoped...I've only sold 3 pieces.. :(

And the jerks at Violet Hill Boutique here in Logan have yet to say anything about the application I turned in 6 weeks ago...

But I have decided I need to advertise better, and definitely need to put my new stuff up.  It has been hard because we don't have the internet...so I'm doin my best!!!

Life is crazy...Ry is sick, My belly is more and more evident everyday, and Will is doing amazing at the Sprint Store, generating more sales than they ever have-so his bosses are loving him!

Wills brother Mike is coming home off his mission from El Salvador next Thursday so we are going to take a lil road trip, I'm so excited for him to meet Ryann!!

Other than that...we have been having way to much fun lately hanging out with our friends,  Casey and Emily Hansen, and TJ and Veronica Morton!!! Its like a party everyday haha!

Astoria

So I finally did it, I got everything together, and I now have a blog for my company.  I have been playing around making bows and headbands for Ryann since she was born, and have built up my skills enough that I think I can sell a few! There is a new boutique in Logan called Violet Hill, and I will be selling there hopefully by this next week, as for now I am going off of my blog.  Please check it out and let me know what you think!

Wow!

K I am seriously so awful at writing frequently...A lot a lot a lot has happened since I wrote last!!! We finally got to move home to Logan, and we found a great little grandma house in Smithfield which is like ten minutes north of Logan.  I love having a house, it is so nice!!! Its a super super old house, but we love having a yard, and not having to worry about being quiet. 

Ryann loves it too, she seriously did laps around the house the first night we got here! She is nuts about being outside, she gets a huge thrill out of dirt, and playing in the water.  We also got her a swing for her 1st Birthday, but I am going to do a separate post on that event :). She just can't get enough of playing outside!

Will got a job managing a Sprint store in Logan, and he absolutely loves it! It is sooo nice to have him home at decent hours, and to have a regular schedule and a regular paycheck.  Don't get me wrong, the traveling sales thing was quite an adventure, but we were so past ready to settle in one place!
My days are filled cleaning up after Will and Ryann, and boy is she a little tornado. She gets such a big kick out of taking all the dvds off the shelf one at a time and throwing them on the floor, and I don't have the heart to tell her no...so obviously I put them away about 3 times everyday. I am also starting up a company with my sister in law Jocelyn...  its called Astoria, and I will do a separate post about that here in the near future :).

The most exciting news we have this month is that we are expecting again!  Ryann will be a big sister in February of 2011.  My due date is February 20th, so I am about 13 weeks right now.  This baby happened a lot sooner than we had planned, but then again so did the last one ;).  We are so grateful to have the opportunity to be parents again, and I can't wait to have a little tiny one again!

July

July has been jam packed for us so far! We got to go to Vernal for the fourth, and it was so much fun to see the fam again! We didn't get to make it last year to the Tippage Tournament at aunt julies, but this year we were so glad to be there! Ryann L_O_V_E_D the fireworks. She sat in her daddys lap and just stared at the sky totally in awe! It was so cute!  It was so fun to see the Downing fam, so glad they came up from Texas to be there! Our fav Cousin Skyelee is engaged to a cute southern boy, and he just fits right in! We are so glad for her! Ryann also turned 11 months on the sixth....can't believe how much she changes everyday! Some of her new tricks:
She started walking the end of June, and now is just everywhere! It is so cute to see her toddle everywhere! 

Everytime she hears a phone ring, she puts her little hand up to her ear and says hello.

She waves hello and bye bye!

She has an obsession for stairs.... :/

Her two front bottom teeth are finally coming through!

She makes the cutest little face where she scrunches up her nose and forehead, puckers her lips, and breathes in and out through her nose....I Love it!

She is just getting so much personality, I love to just watch her function.  She is such a turkey...and loves to crawl or walk away when she knows shes in trouble. Its so funny to watch her kick it into gear when she knows Mommy is coming...    I just can't get enough of her. 

The 8th was Ryann's Uncle Mike's Bday (so we hope he had a wonderful day in El Salvador)
The 9th was Ryann's Uncle Trent's Bday and we didn't get to see him either...but we love them both tons!
The 10th was Will and I's second anniversary! Can't believe that it has been that long...he is so sweet.  I woke up that morning, and he and ryann were m.i.a., So I figured they were playing out in the yard. I started to make Will his favorite breakfast (french toast), and he showed up home with a big vase full of lillies...my absolute fave.  They are still smelling up the whole house wonderfully! After breakfast we took Ryann to the Zoo, it was so fun! She loved it, and Will and I couldn't stop staring at the grizzly bear! it was so fun! However, it was ridiculously hot! So we went to McDonalds and got a parfait and let Ry play on the toys.  Then we came home and watched movies and had dinner, and just relaxed the rest of the night, it was fun to just be together all day. I'm such a lucky girl to have a husband who gives me massages, does dishes, and helps me so much with our baby.  Yesterday he surprised me with a pot roast and rosemary potatoes for dinner, he is so thoughtful! and it was yummy too! So far it has been a good month, and tomorrow will be the cherry on top if Will gets the call telling him we get to move home to Logan for his new job!!!! Pray for us, cause we miss it so much.   :) Here are some pics from this month so far...

All I have to say is LOL!!!!!

Alcova Lake Casper, WY

So I know we are soooo bad, but the only day off that Will had to take his guys to the lake after they hit their goal was Sunday. It was such a beautiful day! NO WIND, 85 Degrees out, and the water felt so good! When we got there, all the guys decided to cliff jump while the rest of us floated around in the fabulous water! I haven't been able to go play at a lake for over a year because we were in LA last summer, and then I had Ry, so I was so excited to get in the water! Ryann did not like the lake.  I think the water was a lil cold for her liking. She did, however, L_O_V_E the mud on the beach! She was so hilarious! She plopped right down in it- just dug around, rubbing it all over her legs and belly, and crawling around in it! She was in heaven!  That was, of course, until she tried to taste the mud-then Mommy was so mean and wouldn't let me play anymore.  It was getting time to put on some warmer clothes anyways.  So Daddy took her in the lake and washed her off-which did not make her very happy. After that we tried to take a picture, and Ryann was still pouting as you can see lol. It was so funny!

Then we had a fabulous bbq on the beach, roasted marshmallows, and had a grand ol' time! Mr. Cody Clinger was poking fun at me all night, so Will came to my rescue and defended my honor.........He grabbed his sling shot and launched a marshmallow at Cody, it seriously sounded like a gun shot!!! Poor Cody lol. It was so funny! Needless to say, the marshmallow was practically flat afterwords, and Cody had a big old welt on his back! Here are his battle wounds:

Anywho, we all had so much fun-it was such a beautiful night at Alcova!

Happy Father's Day to the Best Dad's in the Whole World!!!

What would we do without them??? We are so blessed to have such great Dads!!!  My Dad , Ryann's Papa Randy is simply amaZing, he is my best bud, and is such a wonderful person.  He is so caring (obviously, he's a nurse) and he is just so much fun to be around.  The man is addicted to mtn. dew, and everytime we come to visit, he always cooks us the BEST steak and shrimp dinner!!!!  I just love him so darn much!

Papa Jim is our big teddy bear!!! We love him so darn much, and we couldn't ask for a better Father In Law/Papa!!! Ryann finds him so snuggly and cuddly she can't help but fall asleep when he holds her!!!

Then we have Grandpa Ken!!! Oh how Gpa Ken loves little Ry!!! She stole his heart, and there is no sign of her giving it back!!! She loves to explore out in the yard with him!!! We love him so much too!!!

And last, but Certainly not Least....our Daddy Will!!!! We'll just call him Super Dad!!! I couldn't have picked a better man to have a family with.  He is truly so wonderful!!! He wakes up with Ry at night, changes diapers, feeds her, rocks her, and LLLLLOOOOOVVVVEEEESSS to play with her. She gets so excited when he comes home, and loves to wave goodbye to him through the front window when he leaves.  Everytime he picks her up she squeezes him so tight, and she absolutely loves it when he throws her up in the air!!! She is following right in his footsteps as a freespirited thrill seeker!!! But thats what we love about him, along with a million other things!!! So Happy Happy 1st Fathers Day Will, We love you so stinkin much!!! XOXO

All in all, Ry and I are a couple of lucky girls to have so many great Dads in our life, when so many ppl don't have any.  We love them all so much, and hope they had a very special Father's Day!!!

Twilight Takeover

So Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse have officially taken over my life these last two weeks.  Once I start reading a new one, I can't stop until its over.  I am so excited to read Breaking Dawn!!! I know I'm about a half a decade behind on reading them, but man oh man I LOVE THEM!!! Books are soooo much better than the movies!!! And yes....they have spiced up my love life LOL

Still Alive.....

We are alive, I promise!! Wow, I am sooo bad at this! But my excuse IS legitimate...we moved, AGAIN...and have not had the internet. I may or may not be sitting outside of a hotel *borrowing their internet (:   Anywho....things are going pretty great, I really really miss Logan....but Pocatello is growing on me!  Ryann is quite the girl....She is going to be 9 months old this week, and I love every minute I am with her.  I am so blessed to be able to stay home with her.  She has such a fun little personality, and is sSSSSOOOOOOOO BUSY!!!! She loves to crawl everywhere (finally up on her hands and knees) and stand up on everything in sight, which has resulted in some head bonks :(  she is so fearless, she just bails off of everything like she thinks she can walk away.  Heaven Help me cause I know she will be soon...    She also got her ears pierced this week, and it is soooo adorable!!!  Also in the mix, I am trying to get my business started up here. I make baby quilts, headbands, and cute flowers and bows! So wish me luck!!! Will is just dandy, he is so much happier here...it has helped his stress levels decrease immensely!!! I also made him start doing his hair in a faux hawk, and its super hot!!! So things are going pretty good!  Anywho....besides that, just every single one of my friends is preggo this year.....too bad I had to be fat alone last year lol. P.s. isn't ryanns easter picture sooo cute!!!?  XOXO

Ahhh I am so ready for Spring Spring SPRIIIIIING!!! Logan is the most beautiful place when everything turns green, it reminds me of my home state of Washington!!! The weather has mostly been beautiful lately, so I have done alot of spring cleaning (interruption: Will just said "CRAP!" really loud, so I looked down at Ryann and saw that she had given Tanzi her pickle HAHA!) the only room I have left in the house to finish up is Ryann's, so I just need to get some paint to start!!! I also got the nerve to finally chop my hair off!! I have had long hair for about 7 years now, and just needed something new.  Not to mention Ryann has a love of hair and fuzzy things, so I was constantly (Interruption: Ryann just fed Tanzi her new pickle Daddy got for her LOL) Constantly prying my hair out of her death grip! I have avoided cutting my hair for a while now because I dread the term "mom haircut" but I don't even care I love it, it is so nice to be able to do my hair in 10-15 minutes!!!

 And of course I can't post pics without one of my little Buggy!!!

As of Late...

This past weekend we stayed up at our Sis-In-Law Jocelyn's parent's Beautiful cabin at Bear Lake.  It was only a short 3 day trip, but it was so much fun! We swam at the pool and sat in the hot tub, cooked yummy food, the boys went snowmobiling, and jocey and I did crafts!!! Ryann is such a waterworm, she just loves the pool! And Scary as it was, I bared meh legs for the first time in months lol.  It was good to spend time with family we don't get to see too often~  Then we came home Monday night, and on Tuesday we had a Xango Party at our condo.  Justin Prince, a Xango Premier that Will and I have been working with and respect so much, took time to come to our home and give a little presentation and answer questions about our business.  It was so wonderful, I made chicken, gnocchi, and cheese tortellini soup, a bunch of people we love showed up, and we had such a good time!!! My mom and little sis Hallie also drove out from Casper to come stay for a few days, and we have been having loads of fun.  Ryann is so spoiled by her Grandma LJ, she bought her some cute new clothes, and even let her pick out her very own first cell phone today haha! She loves it!!!
